The First Part of Everything

This quote by John Wesley strikes me. It reminds me of Philippians 4:6, where God commands us...

"...in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

Everything should start with prayer.

When I look back at all that I have attempted for God, I wonder how much MORE I could have accomplished if I had spent sufficient time in prayer.

I mean, prayer to make sure that I am doing something that is within God's will or doing it God's way...

...or praying through the entire process to make sure that His will comes to pass at the end of it all.

Oh, how much time and effort have I wasted by not praying at the start, middle or the end?

All the more as we see the end of time approaching, we need to pray more and discuss less. THEN, we could really see God move in this dry and thirsty land of ours.

Be encouraged to pray more and discuss less this week, as we work together to see His will be done in our part of the earth. Be blessed.
